SCOPED EVIDENCE NOTE

What this source contributes.

Radar and aircraft measurements followed ice initiation, growth and snowfall after orographic cloud seeding. The documented physical chain alone does not quantify general seasonal seeding efficacy.

This is a bounded reading note. It is not independent replication, a full systematic review or an endorsement of every conclusion in the paper.

Questions to take to the paper

  • Was allocation randomized, and was the analysis specified first?
  • What cloud and weather regime was eligible?
  • Is the claimed change a local event, a seasonal total or a model estimate?
Keep the evidence attached to its setting.
A simulation, chamber result, field observation and operational outcome answer different questions. Record the comparator, measured quantity and conditions before carrying a result into a design.
